Wednesday, April 15

The Sigmas will host "Parking Lot Pimpin' "on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:14 p.m. in the football stadium parking lot.



The SGA will host "Meet the Candidates" will be held on Wednesday, April 15 in the cafe at 12 p.m. Students running to become SGA officers will discuss their experience and goals.



The LU Concert Choir and Concert Chorale will host sign-ups for "Showtime at the Apollo" Wednesday, April 15 in the atrium from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. It is $5 for a solo performer, and $10 for a group. There is a $100 grand prize.



Thursday, April 16

Dr. Terrance Roberts, one of the nine African-American students who desegregated Little Rock Central High School in 1957, will be the speaker of the hour for Langston University's annual Honors Day Program. The program will be Thursday, April 16th at 11 a.m. in the I.W. Young Auditorium.



"Drug Free Game Night" will be hosted by the Counseling Center and the Alphas on Thursday, April 16 in the clubhouse at 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.



Harrison Library will offer a computer class on Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 on Thursday, April 16 from 6 p.m. -7 p.m. The hands on class will cover creating and viewing slides, adding formatting, animation and much more.



The men of Phi Beta Sigma will host the Greek Basketball Tournament in the C. F. Gayles Gymnasium at 7:14 p.m. Admission to this event is free.



Friday, April 17

The men of Phi Beta Sigma will host the Sexiest Lady Contest at 7:14 p.m. The Sexiest Lady Contest will be followed by the annual Blue Nasty party, which will be held at 10:47 p.m. until Mo' Bounce in the C. F. Gayles Gymnasium.

LUABJ will meet in the Gazette lab, Sanford hall room 318 at 12 p.m.



Saturday, April 18

The LU Department of Communications will present "Jesse B. Simple," a one-act play adapted from stories by Langston Hughes, at 7:30 p.m. in the atrium. Admission is free.



The Sigmas will host a highway clean up at 10 a.m.



The Sigmas will host "Cater to You" for women only in the clubhouse.



LU alumna Leah Joelle will be live in concert at 6 p.m. at Vernon AME located at 311 N. Greenwood Ave. in Tulsa, Okla.



Monday, April 20

Wednesday, April 22

The Melvin B. Tolson Center will sponsor a faculty and student art showcase April 22 - May 8. For entry information ,contact Edward Grady at 405-466-3346.
