The Deltas will present their "What's Hot, What's Not" event on Sept. 10 at 7:13 p.m. in the Scholars' Inn Clubhouse for those with a flair for fashion and those who need a little help figuring out what is in this year

Thursday, Sept. 11
The Zetas will have a fall informational Sept.11 at 7:20 p.m. in the agricultural building. Business etiquette is required.
The Miss Orange & Blue Scholarship Pageant will take place Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the I.W Young Auditorium. Admission is $1.
The Stillwater Blues Festival will take place Sept. 11-14 at the corner of 8th Avenue and Duck Street in downtown Stillwater. The free festival will feature not only blues, but rock, jazz, gospel and red dirt music. The festival runs from 6-11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; 1-11 p.m. on Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Lions will face off against Oklahoma Panhandle State University at the W.E. Anderson Stadium Sept. 13 in their first home game of the season at 5:30 p.m.

The State of the Black High School Student Symposium will take place Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. in the atrium to discuss the issues and challenges facing today's Black high school students and to offer possible solutions. The event will feature Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu, a noted author and scholar.

The 1st Annual Mahogany Concepts Stomp Classic will take place Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Rose State Performing Arts Center from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. To purchase tickets, contact The Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City at www.okcciviccenter.org or 405-297-2584. Women Emerging Beautifully, an organization for Langston's single mothers with children, meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Cimarron Gardens Apartments, #K3.
The Langston Rollers Bowling League meets Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the 89er Bowl in Guthrie, located at 221 N. 2nd St. If you would like to become a member of the team, see Ms. Cecilia Taft in the human resources department.
