Act Like a Gentleman, Think Like a Woman" was written in response to Steve Harvey's bestselling "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" because the author felt that Mr. Harvey didn't quite get it right. As Bustillos says, "He (Steve Harvey) claims to be aiding women by telling them all about the secrets of men, so that they can get what they want ("the Ring," etc.
